Words from Our Mouths

This just in. Guitars have been shredded into little balls of cat fluff. Keyboards have whimpered through tremolo pedals and reverb. We found the perfect theremin synth patch. Yes! We finished our instrumental tracking today for the last three tracks of our upcoming EP, Proud Animal. We also finished up all the vocal leads. We had a big pot of honey around to dampen our vocal chords, and our sausage lunch just about put us over the top. Just a couple of measly background vocals to do, and we are sitting on a big fat mass of tracks that need mixing and mastering. Oh! The manifold processes of recording music! But we are pretty close to our digital release at beginning of May, so stay tuned.
The band has gone through some interesting changes since our first entrance into the universe. We're adding a drummer and a bass player, and are no longer hiding the fact that we really like the sound of 90's rock. Yeah, we're still pretty arty and sensitive, but we've added some serious ballast with fuzz pedals, crashed cymbals, and a bit of grungy emoting. We kind of want you to listen to our music while making out in a Volvo. We still promise you lyrics that care and outbursts of harmonized singing and accordion, but things have taken a turn to be a bit more rocking, and we like it.
In other exciting news, we are going on our first tour next month! ITS will be joining the ReachOut Psychosis Concert Tour to visit high schools in British Columbia. We'll be playing to youth all over Northern BC, and hitting a few night shows along the way. Check out all the news on our calendar.
